Privacy Policy — Last updated: May 2026

In short: We never collect your financial data — income, expenses, savings, retirement, calculator inputs — it stays on your device. Free users' devices share standard advertising signals (advertising ID, IP address) with Google AdMob to show banner ads; financial data is never shared. Pro users see no ads and no advertising signals are collected.

1. Data Storage

All data you enter into the SaveMoney4Future mobile app — including your name, income, expenses, savings, retirement fund balances, investment property details, and calculator inputs — is stored exclusively in a local database on your device. No data is sent to any external server, cloud service, or third party operated by us.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

Pro users see no ads and AdMob is not initialised at all.

3. Advertising and Third Parties

Free users see a single banner ad pinned to the bottom of the screen, visible on most screens of the app once you complete onboarding. The banner does not appear during onboarding or on the splash screen. Ads are served by Google AdMob.

AdMob does not receive your financial data. The data stored on your device is never sent to AdMob or any other third party.

Privacy consent (GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA): On first launch (after onboarding), free users in regions covered by privacy regulations (EEA, UK, Switzerland, California, and other US states with comparable laws) will see a consent dialog managed by Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). You can choose Consent, Manage options, or Do not consent. Rejecting still shows ads but they are non-personalised.

To change your consent choice later: clear app data via Android system Settings → Apps → SaveMoney4Future → Storage → Clear data. The consent dialog will appear again on the next launch. Note that this also resets your local financial data, so export a backup first if you want to keep it.

To remove ads entirely, purchase SaveMoney4Future Pro. Pro users see no ads, and the AdMob SDK is not initialised on their devices — no advertising data is collected. (Note: if you upgrade to Pro mid-session, the ad banner remains visible until you restart the app; from the next launch onwards, no ads will appear.)

Other than AdMob (free users only) and Google Play Billing (purchase processing), the app contains no third-party SDKs, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no telemetry.

4. Data Export and Import

The app provides a data export feature that saves your data as a JSON file to your device. This file stays on your device unless you choose to share it. The app also allows you to import data from a previously exported backup file. These operations are entirely user-initiated and do not involve any external servers.

5. Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time by using the "Reset All Data" option in the app's Settings. This permanently removes your profile and all associated data from the local database. Uninstalling the app also removes all stored data.

6. Internet Access

The app's core functionality — calculations, projections, expense tracking, dashboard — works entirely offline. Internet access is used only for:

7. In-App Purchases

SaveMoney4Future offers a one-time in-app purchase, "SaveMoney4Future Pro," processed through Google Play Billing. We receive only the information Google sends about the purchase: a purchase token confirming the unlock. We do not receive your name, email, payment details, or Google account information.

Refunds: handled in accordance with Google Play's standard refund policy. Beyond the Google Play window, we offer a 14-day no-questions refund — email us to request one.

8. Data Retention

Your financial data is retained on your device for as long as the app is installed, or until you reset it via the app's Settings. We do not hold any of your financial data on our servers, so we have nothing to retain or delete server-side.

Data collected by Google AdMob (free users only) is retained according to Google's data retention practices, over which we have no control.

9. International Data Transfers

Because we do not collect or store any of your data on our servers, no international transfers occur on our side.

For free users, advertising signals collected by Google AdMob may be processed by Google in the United States and other countries where Google operates. Google relies on Standard Contractual Clauses and other safeguards approved under the EU GDPR and UK GDPR for these transfers. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.

10. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

Because your financial data is stored only on your device and never reaches us, you can exercise the access, rectification, erasure, and portability rights directly inside the app at any time (via "Reset All Data" and the export/import features described above).

Legal basis for processing (free users only): personalised advertising via Google AdMob is processed on the basis of your consent, collected through the Google UMP dialog. Non-personalised advertising and ad fraud prevention rely on Google's legitimate interests. You can withdraw consent at any time — see Section 3.

11. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

We do not sell your personal information. Free users' devices share advertising signals (advertising ID, IP address) with Google AdMob for personalised advertising, which may qualify as "sharing" under the CPRA. You can opt out of this sharing by selecting "Do not consent" in the consent dialog on first launch (see Section 3), or by upgrading to SaveMoney4Future Pro (no ads, no AdMob).

12. Children's Privacy

The app is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction — for example, 16 in some EU member states). If you are below the applicable age in your country, please do not use the app.

13. Financial Disclaimer

SaveMoney4Future is for informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute financial, tax, or investment advice. Calculations and projections are estimates based on the data you provide and simplified models. Always consult a qualified financial adviser before making financial decisions.

14. Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update this page with the new policy and revise the "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
